*patiently waits for a TENOUTATEN joke*

CatFat responds:

I give this review TENOUTATEN !

Dude! Freaking awesome animations from all! Except for Chongos. Wtf

Pahgawk responds:

yeah man, half of his was a SQUARE. I thought we made the "ball" part abundantly clear.

There I am killing animators with dental supplies.

But seriously, great animation brewy

Brewster responds:

Thanks a whole ton, son. You helped out more than you realize.

Since I did a good bit of work in this, I guess I can review the animation aspect and not the voices. I'm glad I got to work with you because this animation is pretty good! True, a lot of standing around, but you really made this work! Again, awesome working with you!

HDRevill responds:

Yeah thanks dude, maybe we can do one next time with less talking and more movement!

I'll look forward to seeing you in the tournament! The story here is pretty powerful, mysterious, leaving me glad I watched it, no doubt. So you get full marks in the story and scripting department. The voice acting made the characters sound kinda bored through the whole thing, so the voice acting could definitely improve. The animation was definitely above average. At first I was worried when it showed them as stick figures zoomed out, but the animation held up when it actually got to the characters.

Overall 4/5. See you in the tournament!

SwedishPlumTrees responds:

Yeah the voice acting is pretty bad. Haha. I may need your talents in the future. Thanks for the review.

Well now that I found this despite your many attempts, I'll lay down the reviewing and shizz!

The animation was a sort of unique style that has the downside of making your characters look very unappealing. Although if that's the comedic direction you were going with seeing as he is naked, then it works, but at some points it can all sort of clutter together like when he ran into the boss. Aside from that I have no other real critiques, the voice actress, TSB, did a good enough job with her lines, and your voice acting was decent. The joke at the end made me smile and wordplay is awesome.

dylan responds:

I was going for unappealing with the main dude, and I guess that unfortunately flowed over into the other characters, especially with the loose-ish animation style I was going with. I think it's the eyes that make them look so uncanny. I need to work getting them to match up with the style a bit more fluently.

Thanks for your thoughts and compliments, Rongo!

Okay, so if you get NOTHING ELSE out of this review, it's this: GET A VOICE ACTOR!

Now onto my review. As far as animation goes, it's pretty average. Nothin spectacular coming from here, and the script seems to be kinda awkward. At least the bits I got of it because your accent is very, very, VERY thick. If people can't make out a majority of what you're saying, then you might want to get someone to do the voice acting. While, as a voice actor, I can say that you have a good variety and range, unfortunately your accent is REALLY getting in the way.

So points off for weed jokes that seemed to fall flat and thick accents, so a 2.5 from me.

ArcadeHero responds:

aww ;(

As an animation, this was very good. The blend of 3D and 2D worked greatly. My only grip is I have no clue how it relates to the theme :/

Grub517 responds:

It's basically a cruise ship.

While the art style and animation was lackluster (the explosion as an example), I still feel that this was very enjoyable. I finished watching it with a smile on my face, so that's a major point for writer, despite the lack of dialogue. So as far as animation goes, it gets a couple points for not being terrible, and as far as the animation being overall alright, I give it a 3.5!

I don't see you winning NATA this year, but keep it up and I can see you going places.

urbfilms responds:

Thank you for the review! Yeah, I don't expect to make it in the Novice Round, but at least I tried something new, and that's what matters to me!

As the very first NATA animation, I'd have to say we started of very well with this one. Solid animation, a basic plot that is still leaving me thinking. My only nitpick would be the excessive use of jump cuts, but again, that's just nitpicking. I'll be seeing you in the tournament!

francisyfl responds:

Thanks for the review man, glad you liked it
